My YouTube experience

Hello my Lovelies,

So today I thought I would write a special blog post about my YouTube experience. I have been on YouTube for almost three years and it has done a lot for me, personality wise as well as with my shyness and  self confidence.

Three years ago when I started youtube videos I had just gotten over a foot surgery and I couldnt go out and do anything over the summer because I was in a boot and couldnt take it off to do ANYTHING. So I was watching youtube videos and thought it would be fun to start doing my own. So I pulled out the camera I owned, that was really bad quality, and started my first video as a tutorial. That video is no longer on my YouTube because it was the worst video I had ever made and I decided taking it off was a much better idea. I did that for about two months before I went back to school and I kept it a secret from everyone other than my parents.

At school I was shy and didnt talk much to people I wasnt really good friends with. YouTube was my creative escape as well as my way to be myself and realize who I was. It didnt take long for me to start being crazy and funky and my all out self that I was only with my friends.

By the second year of doing videos I was having fun and my self confidence had taken a big boost. I dont get hater comments and if i do its rarely. All I get is praise and support and it made me feel great. Everyone at school started to see a change in the way I acted with people who werent my best friends. I also told a few people I did videos at this time, and I didnt get hate about it at all. They all supported it and actually wanted to be in videos with me.

This being my third year I have changed a lot. My videos have progressively gotten better because I have been making videos longer and know what to do, as well as gotten a new camera and other things that I needed to make decent videos. The one thing for me that hasnt changed is that I still do YouTube for creative fun and that no one really knows I make videos. The day people at school find out may be interesting because i dont know how people will receive it. But until that day comes I am sticking with it because it makes me happy. I love all my subscribers and honestly I dont know what I would do if I didnt have my YouTube. It is my life and I hope it will always be a part of it in some way shape or form.


I hope you all enjoyed this blog post. I had a good time writing it because its not something I talk about all that much all the time.

Bordom fixes

Hey my lovelies,

Today we are going to talk about my fixes to boredom. This is coming from me being in class noted out of my mind.

The first thing I do is type blogs on my phone. Its fun and a boredom beaker. Although this doesnt happen lot because im not suppose to use my phone.

Next I play flow. This game is so addicting and fun. Boredom gone after this.

Lastly I watch youtube videos on silent. Thats easier said then done but I some how do it.

So what do you guys do to break boredom?

Laziness and hair cut

Hey my lovelies,

I would just like to apologize for my lack of posts. Im going to call it laziness because i dont like excuses, but really I have just been really busy with a paper for school. So today we are going to talk about my new hair cut!!!!

Cut by an AMAZING girl at my cosmetology school.

I am so in love with how it turned out. I have always wanted my hair the way that it is now. I guess i can tell you guys how i even ended up with this hair cut and how she did it. 

I texted the girl who did my hair the night before with a picture asking if she wanted to do it. She was all for it and excited to do it. This was the first time she had done a hair cut along the lines of what I wanted. I trusted her to do it as I always do and I was really glad I did. 

She did a mixture of point cutting, razor cutting, and thinning to get it how it is. It is the first hair cut i have almost absolutely loved. I feel I will love it more after it grows out a little and i get to play around more with how to do it.

Crazy mornings

Hey my Lovelies,

Im writting todays post sitting in my us history class before school starting to write this on my phone. I wont have a normal post today do to the fact that this morning was pretty crazy.

I woke up early and tried to take my time getting ready. When in fact I wasnt early at all my clock was just behind....which would explain how I woke up at what I thought was 6:30 on my own.

So I was rushed to get out of the door. Now to add to my crazy morning they are playing music from Rocky over the PA. I will never understand this one.

So thats all I have time for as im about to be able to not use my phone for the day.

Embarrassing myself

My Back to school school supplies video from 2010. What was I thinking?

Hard Candy Mascara review. Please explain to me why I thought saying i loved hard candy so much was a good idea. And also please explain to me what the heck was going on with my bangs.

August favorite video from 2010. Not sure what I was thinking with the camera zoom or anything. Im pretty sure the only good thing going on was that that blue was getting painted over the day after i filmed this.

Top 5 most HATED

Hey my Lovelies,

So yesterday I did a post about my all time favorite makeup products. So today I am going to do my top 5 most HATED. Now I know everyone has had their share of really bad makeup buys, but i think mine may just be more than others. I could probably come up with a hundred I hated, but hey 5 is enough dont you think?


Number 5...

To be completely fair this mascara wasnt the most horrible mascara ever, but I had to wait for two months before i could get it to look good when i put it on because it was so watery. Thankfully it dried up and it wasnt horrible, but it still makes this list.

Number 4...

Some how another hard candy product has worked its way on to this list. I love their stuff but some times the tings that they come up with just arnt great. I would rather save my money then actually spend it on this. The one i got was a sample size and free and I hated it.

Number 3...

This concealer was one of the weirder ones i have used. It was supposed to be medicated and help heal break outs as well as cover them. It never covered them very well for me, let alone did it actually cover them. Yeah its a hated product for me.

Number 2...

Sadly I had to put these on here. When i got them i wanted to like them so bad, but they just werent good. I mean yes they were a dollar but ELF usually has really good products. I think if the little top was changed they would be better. Maybe ELF should take that into consideration...just maybe.

Number 1...

This mascara...oh how I hate it. I think that out of everything i will ever buy this will be the one thing I will always hate the most. This was the biggest waste of money forever. Unless you like looking like you have two lashes it wont work for anyone.

All time top 5

Hello my Lovelies,

So today I am back with my all time top 5 favorite beauty products. I was laying on the floor with my cat singing to her, yes i know i am really weird, and i was trying to come up with something to write about. Then the idea hit me just like a train hits a car that wont move...okay that was morbid moving on.

Number 5

I am putting this as number 5 because I do love the UD primer potions but you can find things that work just as well for cheaper, put I will give this that it has more color selections and that much I like, so thats honestly the only way it worked its way onto this list instead of another one.

Number 4

This is one of my favorite neutral pallets by far. The color side car is to die for and i use it pretty much every day. If im wearing a neutral eye this pallet is mostly likely what im wearing.

Number 3

This lipstick really honestly changed my life in the world of lipsticks. I was never ave to find a read lipstick that worked for me and this one did. Sadly I took it to cosmetology school and someone stole it out of my train case, so that product didnt last long with me. Also a lesson learned, NEVER TRUST PEOPLE NOT TO STEAL YOUR MAKEUP!

Number 2

This mascara....OMG. It is one of the new things i got recently and i am so glad I did. It is one of my favorite mascaras of all time and truthfully i dont think i would get by during the day with out this.

Number 1

Honestly I will never forget about this concealer. Maybelline discontinued it for whatever reason and I was heart broken. It was my favorite concealer and I still to this day have not found one that I like more or even close to as much as I liked this one. Maybelline, Please bring it back!

Late night organizing

Hello my Lovelies,

So I was feeling the need to re organize my room tonight...its 1:51 am as i am writing this. So I got up and started to re organize, let me just tell you that was a task I was not exactly ready for. Thankfully I down sized my makeup collection to basically fit in a makeup bag and two drawers of my desk, because had i not this would have been a lot worse. I couldnt imagine moving what used to be my makeup collection around.

So in the spirit of organizing I decided I would make a little post on in expensive things you can use to organize your makeup collection, or even your home in general.

The expensive option...

There are many expensive organizing options out there, here are a few things from the container store that are over priced, and in my opinion, stupid to buy.

Acrylic jewelry chest: $109
hanging jewelry organizer: $20
jumbo utility cart" $60

Save a little...

So now for the fun part of this. Those three things are way over priced and you can find things around the house or even at walmart or target that will serve the same purpose and cost a LOT less.

70 qt storage bin: $11 each  These can be used to store blankets, purses, extra clothes,baby clothes, and even hair tools and products. I like these for storing my hair tools, though i got rid of mine because it would no longer fit with my new organization.

Shoe organizer: $13 Not only can these be used to store shoes, but you can also use them to story jewelry, belts, remotes, socks, craft supplies, pretty much anything. I used to have one of these a long time ago and i do often wish for it back because it was very useful. You can use them for anything, you just have to be creative.

Drawer organizer: $8 These are very helpful for inside desk drawers or vanity drawers. I have some from the container store and it was a waist of money, because i could have gotten more for less money at target. Lesson learned.

Maybelline BB Cream

Hello my Lovelies,

So today we will be talking about a new found love of mine, the Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream.

I know that a lot of people do not like the drug store BB creams because they dont cover as well. I do however like this one. So lets get into this quick little review.

Pros...

• Coverage- for me the coverage of this product is nice. It is a sheer tint so there isnt much coverage, but i dont need a full coverage makeup on an every day basis. So I really do think it is nice if you are looking for a light everyday tinted mosturizer.
• Packaging- I really like the packaging of this. Mostly just because it is a very nice fresh clean looking packaging. You can tell it is something fro a drugstore but i like simple packaging on things like foundation and concealer. To me there is no reason for it to be big and flashy.
• Smell- The smell of this is really nice as well. I know i personally do not like to have a very fragrance thing on my face. There is really no smell to it at all so that is what i find appealing about it.

Cons...

• Coverage- This is a double hitter because on the days I want more coverage this is not really a good product.
• Viscosity- This product is a bit runny and not really something that everyone would love. I can work with it but for someone else this may be a kicker. 

So all in all I really do enjoy this product. I can over look the coverage issue and the viscosity issue because to me it is easy to deal with, and since i dont need a full coverage foundation everyday it works for me. I would recommend this product to anyone that is looking for a light coverage product that makes your skin feel really nice.
